OKU Residents’ Committee represents the interests of residents of the OKU House complex in the Schipluidenbuurt of Amsterdam.
The committee was founded in March 2025. Several residents of the complex decided to join forces in order to get longstanding issues with their building fixed. They’ve bundled their complaints and sought direct contact with the landlord and building owner.
Activies
The residents’ committee meets regularly with the landlord and the building owner to discuss any issues regarding maintenance, cleanliness and safety. The committee operates within the legal framework set by the Tenant/Landlord Consultation Act.
The committee also organizes the occasional social activity and publishes a regular newsletter for everyone living in the complex.
